How to Work with LockBoxy Forms

LockBoxy forms offer a seamless way to collect data and streamline your workflow. Follow these simple steps to create and manage forms efficiently:

Step 1: Access the Forms Page

• Navigate to the forms page within LockBoxy.

• Here, you'll find all the existing forms listed for your reference.
  

Step 2: Add a New Form

• Click on the "Add Form" button to create a new form.

• Alternatively, use the "Create Theme" button to create your own customized theme.

Step 4: Set Form Details

• On the left side, you'll find options to set your form details.

• In the "About" section, provide a title, description, and footer for your form.

• Select or add the groups you want to associate with your form.

Step 5: Select Table

• Choose the table from the ones added in LockBoxy where you want to input data through your forms.

Step 6: Configure Fields

• Customize your form fields by renaming them, showing or hiding fields, and marking them as mandatory if needed.

Step 7: Customize Buttons

• Name your submit button and optionally add a clear data button.

Step 8: Style Your Form

• In the styling section, upload a picture for the form or hide it if not needed.

• Choose from available themes, and decide whether to keep or remove the watermark.

• Enable or disable social media sharing options.

Step 9: Set Privacy Settings

• Decide whether to keep the form public (accessible to users outside the LockBoxy account) or private.

• Choose what to display once the data is successfully submitted.

Step 10: Manage Form Actions

• Once your form is added, it will appear on the forms page.

• Similar to tables, you can perform various actions on forms:

  • Delete the form

  • Disable the form

  • Edit the form

  • Preview it

  • Copy form URL for sharing

  • Copy the iframe code for embedding your form

  • Copy form key

  • Share it with other LockBoxy users with specific access and expiry date.

Step 11: Utilize Your Form

• Your form is now ready to use. Share the form URL to collect data directly into Notion.
